I was reading a magazine article recently that described the challenge of feeding my family quite well. The authoress had developed an acronym for families like mine, S.I.L.K., which stands for Single Income Lots of Kids. I laughed out loud as I read it. It is quite a challenge to feed any size family today, but when you are blessed to stay at home with lots of children it does ratchet up the challenge a bit. If you want to feed that large brood of yours healthily your in for a battle of epic proportions! This page will be dedicated to my meandering in the kitchens and the paths I've taken as I try feed my family healthy food on a budget!
